My name is Alisa and I am an exchange student from Russia. More than two months have passed since our arrival in China, namely at Shandong Management University.

Everything was different for us because this is another country, culture and traditions. Our plane from Russia arrived in Beijing and everything seemed different. During this time, we easily went through the period of adaptation and joined the student life. The only thing that was frustrating was the language barrier, but we tried to overcome it. It was also mentally difficult to be away from my family. It took us a while to come to terms with this idea. All the subjects are very interesting, we study different disciplines, they all take place in English. The material in the lessons is always clear, and we learn something new for ourselves. All the teachers are understanding and attentive. We like studying at Shandong Management University.

We really enjoy walking around Jinan, looking for different parks and visiting new places. Every park is a work of art. We also really enjoy traveling. During the holidays and weekends, we managed to visit Qingdao, Heze, Hangzhou and Shanghai. A very important aspect is the students of this university. The main thing is that it's just the two of us here and we're always together. All the guys are incredibly friendly and kind, they all came up on their own, asked for our WeChat and were always ready to help. They often invite us to participate in various events, meetings and just for walks. My impressions of the university and my studies in general are positive, and we really like it here.
